We hope you can join us on Sunday, October 24, 2010 for our Wild Halloween Monster Shoot-Out with fun aplenty.
We’re starting our Main Match in October at 9:45 a.m.
One of the stages calls for flying bats — Turquoise Tony’s infamous “evil flyers” but you’ll be able to make up a “miss” on the flyer with a ground “mole.” You can warm up by trying your hand at flying clays as a side match in Tony’s ’97 Shotgun Challenge before the main match, so bring extra shotgun shells.
We’ll also have our regular Long Range Rifle Side Matches before the Main Match as usual.
For the October Match
We offer a Wild Bunch category in the regular
Main Match three times a year at our outdoor matches.
PLEASE declare yourself as a Wild Bunch shooter
at the registration table if you intend to shoot in
that category on Sunday.
Registration is 8:15 am to 9:30 am
Side Matches run from 8:15 – 9:15 a.m.
New Shooter’s Meeting starts at 9:15 am
[Please let us know at registration if you are a new shooter]
Mandatory Shooter’s Meeting starts at 9:30 am
Match begins at 9:45 am
Cost is $10 for Members, $12 for Non-members [You can become a Long Nine member at the match].
We’ll also be offering handsome Long Nine Cowboys insulated mugs for $8 in case you missed purchasing one awhile back.
We’ll shoot 5 stages total. Bring extra ammo if you shoot side matches.
Lunch is available for $5 at the Club House.
We’ll break for lunch after 3 stages as usual.
Our Match Director this month is Turquoise Tony.
If you’ve forgotten to renew your membership for 2010, we have a deal for you. Come to the August match for a discounted renewal rate as a special treat.
It’ll save you $2 per match in entry fees per person, plus it makes you eligible for fabulous awards at the Annual Banquet.
