match_stages_buttonOur goal is to have fun shooting this year, as usual.  So, in addition to our usual five stage Main Match, we are going to try to have three FREE  side matches for our enjoyment.

Marshal J.D. Oak is going to host the Long Range Rifle event.  This will include rifle caliber single shot and lever action rifles at 100-200 yard range.  Pistol caliber rifles will be shot at 50-100 yards.

Turquoise Tony will be hosting a Shotgun Side Match.  It will include a knock-down target, which activates a pop-up target and a flyer.  You’ll need a ’97 for the three shots.  You can practice the flyer with your double, if you like, as well.

A Wild Bunch stage will be the third side match.  Bring your 1911, ’97,  and rifle for this event. We will basically follow the SASS Wild Bunch guidelines (as posted on the SASS web site), but you may use any main match rifle for our event.

As usual, lunch will be available for purchase at the Lefthander’s Clubhouse for $5 at our lunch break, if you like.

Matches start immediately after Shooter’s Meeting.  We shoot three stages, then break for lunch, then shoot two stages after lunch.  Lunch is available at the Club House for $5.  Bottled water and soft drinks are available for 50 cents in the refrigerator at the club house.  Usually we also furnish an Igloo cooler on the range.
