The Long Nine Cowboys will host two Wild Bunch Matches on the 5th Sunday in July and September in 2012.

With the growing popularity of the SASS Wild Bunch shooting categories and the challenges of including Wild Bunch in regular monthly matches, these three special matches provide an excellent opportunity for shooters who want to enjoy their 1911 pistols in conjunction with CAS [cowboy action shooting] and still shoot “regular cowboy” at the conventional monthly CAS matches.

The two Wild Bunch matches will take place at the Lefthanders Gun Club in Loami, Illinois [our regular outdoor range for the Long Nine CAS matches] on:

1st Match -  Sunday – April 29, 2012 – CANCELLED due to scheduling conflicts

2nd Match -  Sunday – July 29, 2012

2nd Match – Sunday – September 30, 2012

To participate, please show up at the Lefthanders Gun Club [our outdoor range] at 8:00 a.m. to set up and shoot 4 stages.  Shooter’s Meeting at 9:00a.m. Match begins at 9:00 sharp or sooner if we’re all ready to go!!  You can use any pistol-caliber, lever-action rifle for our matches.
